This course covers the laws, rules, and regulations applicable to digital assets. Attorneys attending the course will first learn about the FinCEN Advisory that made 18 USC 1960 applicable to digital assets. Then they will discuss the evolution of law driven by the state-by-state regulatory regime and regulatory enforcement actions in the absence of federal legislation.Attending this program will bring attorney up-to-date with the latest regulatory advisories tax reporting regulations being established by Notice of Proposed Rule-Making which seeks to apply the rules necessary to enforce the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021.Attorneys of all levels are encouraged to attend this course in order to gain a deeper understanding of digital asset laws.Learning Objectives:
